No silencing them probably isn’t helpful. But accepting them and living life anyway may be (w/o trying to understand them).

More generally, I’m fascianted by the question of when thought/reflection becomes counterproductive or even harmful.

Many of us are so intellectual that it seems heretical to not to engage on that level. But I think it’s pretty clear that sometimes that is the correct move, right?
