Love this, bud! I try really hard to do this with my own kids.

For me the hardest part is impatience… I want to leave and get out the door and waiting 5 minutes for my daughter to finally figure out how to buckle her saltwater sandals feels like FOREVER!

But it’s my job as a parent to help them learn the confidence that they can struggle and keep struggling and eventually figure it out (or not…) and it’s still all going to be okay.

That confidence will never settle into their bones (no matter how much they know it conceptually) unless they go through it themselves.
