I think people LOVE the idea of being more productive but, at the end of the day, they don’t really think the trade offs are worth it.

My big question is, if you have enough insight to realize you’re in that camp, how do you go about changing things?

My suspicion is that you need to take an incrementalism approach (sort of James Clear style) where you try out an insanely small bite of the change you want and only very gradually work your way up.

Incrementalism May be my favorite ism. Pragmatism and experimentalism are right up there though :)
