I think the simple answer is that my writing on Medium is aimed at people who haven’t encountered my work before. For every 1 person who sees my articles multiple times, I have a dozen who are seeing them (and the ideas inside) for the first time.

I write more advanced and in-depth articles on my personal blog only, not on Medium.

I think of myself like a teacher… If I was teaching biology, for example, I might teach the same Intro to Biology every year for freshmen (my articles on Medium). But I would also advanced seminars in molecular gentics (my blog/newsletter articles).
