Re: the Harvard Study, the querstion is really about effect size not differences. Of course blue light will have some effect, but the bigger point of my piece is that the costs of worrying about blue light almost assuredly outweight the benefits of less blue light exposure (which are small) when it comes to insomnia. Worry and the arousal it produces if far more likely to interfere with sleep than a mild change in melatonin release.
